I first heard the above phrase when I was I child watching Lost In Space. From what I remember, the family’s robot couldn’t tell them specifically what was going to happen, but it could tell danger was imminent.
I did an internet search for modern day prophets and the AI report resulted in no prophets alive today. Well, that is wrong. There are many around currently. Each of them are receiving similar words. One of those messages is to the church: Look to God. Get in His Word. Lean on Him each and every day.
Why? In recent days we’ve heard of earthquakes along the ring of fire as well as volcanoes erupting. From what I understand, more are coming and with greater strength.
When reading Daniel 8 the other week, God confirmed that we are near the time of Jesus’s return – which leads to our eternal victory. This means we are going to see crazy, unprecedented things happening. Look at Matthew 24 and Luke 21:25-26.

This can be scary for some. So hear this – God doesn’t want us to be filled with fear. He wants us to live in peace. How do we do that?
Keep our eyes on Him. Talk to Him. Spend time with Him. Don’t listen to those that want us to be full of fear. God is in charge. But, this doesn’t mean that bad things won’t happen. It means there is a reason for those occurrences.
So when your hear or see the bizarre and unthinkable happening, do three things: 1) Ask God why it happened. Talk to Him about it and don’t hide your feelings from Him. (Psalm 34, 37) 2) Ask for forgiveness for any part you might have had. 3)Thank Him for the good He has coming as a result of what happens. (Romans 8:28)
Remember my motto which I’ve held for over two decades: There is always hope. The Holy Trinity is on your side and loves you more than you think. In your prayers, thank God for His upcoming victory. After all, God wins in the end.
