Wake Up

Do you see how much life has changed in recent years? Stable ways of living and thinking are upside down or flying away with the wind. Some look at these things and think it can’t get any worse. Then wonder if there is any chance of a return to “normal life”.

If what I’m hearing is correct, things may get worse.

Do you know the saying, “It’s always darkest before the dawn”? Perhaps that is what we will experience. But in order for truth to be revealed and believed, the bad often times must be exposed. Lies and deceptions need light shown on them in order for a correct view to be experienced. Oh, they can live on for a period of time but there is an ending to their era. And now is that time. In other words, the truth always comes out.

And sometimes, the real truth hurts – hurts bad. It sends shock waves through us … learning what we thought was true is actually false. Truths that we have stood by, lived by, would have fought to the death for are crushed. Why? Because they are facades.

A righteous truth is coming that will tear down what we thought were truths, ripping open to expose the dark ooze that exists beneath the disguise of good. It can easily leave us with a taste of despair in our mouths. Leading to a confusion that gives us a desire to run but not knowing which way to go we spin in circles trying to find our bearings. Unfortunately, we aren’t going to be zapped out of this confusion and turmoil soon.

Yes, things are falling into place for Jesus to return, but it’s not time…right now.

But, know this, with truth comes a release into peace and calm. A gift from the Lord. Right now, before the real truth bomb falls, we must seek out a renewal in our walks with Jesus. Calling for the fire of the Lord to burn in anyone who calls Him Lord and Savior. A fire that many have never experienced in their Christian walk. A fire that will spread throughout the world. A warming fire that brings joy and healing, and freedom from the lies the enemy of the Lord has inflicted on this world.

Here’s the key to this fire… keep searching the Word of God daily. Keep talking to Him. And when the woes look like they’re going to swallow you up or shake you off your foundation … look heavenward and declare Jesus has the victory. He will keep your feet steady. The Almighty Triune Creator has already won, not just a battle, but the war. Don’t look at the fearful things about you – look to Jesus and speak words of trust. EVEN WHEN YOU DON’T FEEL IT! Speak it. Shout it even.

Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus. Let’s proclaim He has the victory. Let’s remember that there is always hope when our eyes are on our Holy Lord and Savior, Jesus.
